THE WASH DAY EXPERIENCE

The Wash Day Experience is a place where community building and collaboration thrive. The heart and soul of every healthy hair journey is washing your hair. Depending on your prerogative, wash days can be a unwelcomed chore or the best day of the week. Either way, let's find time to celebrate your hair! It doesn't matter whether you're natural, relaxed, texlaxed or somewhere in between; We're all in this together. Every chica deserves encouragement when the journey gets lonely, overwhelming, and just plain torturous!

To join, all you have to do is wash your hair and share your experience. Jeni from JustGrowAlready and I will host a weekly link-up on Wednesdays where you can share how you treated your hair and report what worked or what didn't work through a blog post, Pinterest, Instagram or Twitter using the hashtag #WashDayExperience. Y Si que claro, you're welcome to wash your hair on any day that you want just don't forget to share with us each week!

The Wash Day Experience Linkup RULES

  1. Healthy Hair is the theme. Entries completely unrelated to the theme or linked to your homepage will be deleted.
  2. Share it! Your blog post MUST link back to this site so others see. We even made this nifty badge which links back to The #WashDayExperience page! Just copy and drop the code into your blog post.
  3. Encourage the #WashDayExperience contributor that linked up directly before you with an inspiring comment. We are each here to support each other and build a community of determined women and hair-friends. Don’t worry, the chica who links up after you will do the same; comment love for everyone!

    1. Hey chica! I'm so sorry for the delay in response. The badge is teal square that reads "The WashDayExperience A Healthy Hair Linkup From www.savingourstrands.com www.justgrowalready.com." When/if you share your post via social media, use the #washdayexperience hashtag so that we can RT you!

So excited to have you board!

      XOXO

  2. I can't get the badge to show up in my post. Is there something I'm doing wrong. I just copied and pasted directly into my blogpost.

    1. Did you use the HTML button next to COMPOSE on the left hand side before pasting it? The picture won't show if you don't click on that option. Good luck!

  4. I'm not sure how to quite link up. I added the thumbnail to my washday post here: http://withmycoils.blogspot.com/2015/04/a-slightly-damp-twist-out.html
But I feel as if there is something else I should be doing!

  5. Kenya the easiest way to have people find the post is to do two things. One copy the html code that is above and paste it into your blog post. To do this just click on HTML instead of the compose window when you type and then paste the code at the end of your post. The second is on Wednesdays come to the site and add your link to the linkup. That way you get exposed to all the other posters for that week as well as others who just come to see who participated.
