Happy Birthday to The #WashDayExperience Linkup!



The #WashDayExperience is a year old!

Wow. That feels amazing to say. The #WashDayExperience is a year old....

I'm not gonna front. The #WashDayExperience is my baby. It's my favorite post of the week. (Sometimes it's my only post of the week..haha #bloggerproblems) I appreciate how you encourage me each week.

And I simply adore reading how you encourage each other every week. It's fun, y'all are sassy, incredibly knowledgeable. I wouldn't trade you for the world.

After all, without you, the #WashDayExperience is nothing.

Nothing.At.All. Like seriously. I'd be talking to myself if y'all weren't here!



What started as collaboration linkup party that joined fabulous beauty bloggers/vloggers, with hair textures varying from relaxed to natural and even locs, to share how they pamper their hair each wee--Has turned into an  awe inspiring, positive pixie dust spreading, inclusive healthy hair movement. EVERYONE IS WELCOME.

There's no #teamrelaxed nor #teamnatural around these parts. The #WashDayExperience is #teamloveyourhair. Your hair is beautiful. You are beautiful. 

Oh and did I mention that: EVERYONE IS WELCOME!

Rock yo rizos, transition, straighten, loc it up, curl it around, set it down, pin it up. Do what you want to do to your hair. Just love on your hair. You won't get no judgey-looks from me girl!

I can't thank you enough for your support! You guys friggin ROCK!

Overnight Deep Condition: Jessicurl Deep Treatment + Almond Oil
Style: Banding to stretch my hair then small Caruso Steam Rollers to give it some oomph!

    I always look forward to the #washdayexperience every week. I'm glad you're one year and you're going places this year!! I have discovered a lot of interesting and helpful hair blogs through this platform. I would like to the see pictures from your wash day if you dont mind. Have an awesome week...

      Hey Hilda! I'm sooo glad that you're finding more FABULOUS bloggers/vloggers to follow!

      Those soft curls in the first picture are the result of my #washdayexperience for the week. I cleansed with JC Cleansing Cream, deep conditioned with JC Deep Treatment, then stretched my hair using faux banding. The curls are the result of Caruso Steam rollers.

    I have only recently joined the #washdayexperience and it has been wonderful, I love reading other people's posts and I get to learn so much each week, whish only means that my 'things to try' folder is getting bigger and bigger!

    Awesome, awesome, awesome! Happy first anniversary! I look forward to the Wednesday linkup each week because I get to keep up with other women's hair journeys all in one spot plus it helps keep me accountable for my own hair care weekly. I love all the positive vibes and encouraging comments shared among the ladies who participate. I love the hash tag #teamloveyourhair because that is what it is all about. No division...all inclusive. Thank you so much for acting on an idea you had a year ago. The seed has grown and bearing fruit! ::fistbump::

    Hi KLP. Congratulations on #The Wash Day Experience being 1 year. I've benefited from reading each week's posts. Seems you had an easy breezy wash day as well. In your initial review of Jessicurl Deep Treatment, you stated they'd be coming to a major U.S. retailer soon. Have they? If so,which one?

    Great! I like the washday link up as a lot of my old hair heroins, don't blog much about hair anymore. Many of them have gone natural and it seems like they don't want to blog anymore. But here I can find new bloggers easily!
